The defenders of the 12th special forces brigade of the National Guard raided the enemy's rear, where they eliminated the Russian occupiers in the position.

The scout group of the 12th National Guard of Ukraine "Azov" Brigade carried out a raid behind the enemy's rear, — reports the Azov Brigade press service .

The defenders also published unique footage of eliminating enemy personnel in close combat.

"Azov" fighters have been in Russian captivity for over 600 days

The Association of Families of Defenders of "Azovstal" reports that for 600 days, more than 900 fighters of the 12th Special Brigade "Azov" of Ukraine's National Guard, who fought with the overwhelming enemy forces in the surrounding Mariupol, are in captivity.

There, they reminded that in the spring of 2022, they won time for the whole country; getting them out of their terrible captivity is the duty of every Ukrainian.

We remember our captured brothers and their rank. And we do everything so that they return home. Their freedom is our greatest motivation.

On May 16, 2022, the commander of "Azov", Denys Prokopenko, reported from "Azovstal" that the order of the higher military command to preserve the lives of the personnel was fulfilled.

Then, it became known that about ten buses with the Ukrainian military had left the plant's territory.

In June 2022, Zelenskyy announced that more than 2,500 Ukrainian soldiers from the Azovstal plant were in Russian captivity.
