Big mistake. Biden harshly criticized the leader of Israel

According to American leader Joe Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "harming Israel more than helping it" in the way he approaches the war against Hamas in Gaza.

Biden does not support Netanyahu's decision

The head of the White House supported Israel's right to fight Hamas after the attack on October 7, but pointed out that Netanyahu "should pay more attention to the innocent victims who die as a result of the actions carried out."

This goes against what Israel stands for. And I think this is a big mistake.

According to the American leader, a potential Israeli operation in the city of Rafah in Gaza, where more than 1.3 million Palestinians have taken refuge, is a "red line" for him.

Despite this, the US president emphasized that Israel's defense "still remains critically important", so for him there is "no red line" that would force him to stop supplying Israel with missiles for the Iron Dome air defense systems.

As the head of the White House noted, he is ready to present his position directly in the Israeli Knesset, making another trip to the country.

However, Joe Biden did not answer when exactly this might happen.

Ceasefire in Gaza until Ramadan. What they say in the USA

According to the American leader, he has doubts about the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza before the start of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims, which will begin in the coming days.

When media representatives asked the US president about the progress of negotiations between Hamas and Israel, Joe Biden replied: "It looks like it won't be easy."

It is also said to have expressed concern about possible violence during Ramadan in Israeli-controlled East Jerusalem, home to Islam's third-holiest site, the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
