Boris Johnson is again in Kyiv. What is known

As you know, it was Boris Johnson who was the Prime Minister of Great Britain at the time of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Even after his resignation from his post, he called providing vital support to Kyiv one of his achievements as head of government.

Johnson also called for continued support for Ukraine.

On this grim second anniversary of Putin’s invasion I am honoured to be here in Ukraine. With their indomitable courage I have no doubt that the Ukrainians will win and expel Putin’s forces - provided we give them the military, political and economic help that they need.

It is also impossible not to mention that in the spring of 2022, he was one of the first world leaders who came to Kyiv.

In the winter of 2023, Johnson traveled to de-occupied cities in the north of Kyiv region.

He repeatedly insisted that the West speed up its aid to Kyiv, and also called on NATO to give a clear signal of readiness to accept Ukraine.

The prime ministers of Canada, Italy and Belgium also came to Kyiv

On February 24, the prime ministers of Italy, Canada and Belgium also arrived in the Ukrainian capital.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Maloni decided to support the Ukrainian people with a personal visit.
