In Kyiv, the Prime Minister is accompanied by Minister of Justice Atanas Slavov, Minister of Energy — Rumen Radev, Minister of Environment and Waters — Yulian Popov, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence — Tikhomir Stoychev and Stanimir Georgiev, as well as the Defence Chief Admiral Emil Eftimov.

Nikolay Denkov arrived in Kyiv to express Bulgaria's support for Ukraine.

Bulgaria supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders, Denkov reminded.

Our country also supports the Ukrainian formula for a just, comprehensive and durable peace based on the principles of the UN Charter and international law, as well as all efforts for a world peace summit with the widest possible international support, the Council of Ministers noted.

Bulgaria's aid to Ukraine

On February 24, Denkov noted in his address that his country was among the first countries that helped Ukraine at the beginning of the war.

He promised to continue to provide political, humanitarian, material and military aid to the maximum extent according to their capabilities and legislation.

We remain actively involved in implementing the "Peace Formula" of President Zelenskyy, the Coalition "For the Children of Ukraine", and in rebuilding Ukraine.
