A resident set fire to a museum in Saratov on December 21. As a result of the arson of the propaganda museum, allegedly only the door burned down. There were no victims.
Representatives of the resistance movement against the dictatorial regime noted their goal was to cleanse the Russian Federation of such propaganda.
It became known that the police had already detained a 21-year-old resident of Saratov, Maksym Kim, who is suspected of arson. The Kremlin mass media note that he became a suspect in the case under Chapter 1 of 205 Article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act). He faces up to 20 years in prison.
It should be noted that the so-called "SVO" museum was inaugurated in Saratov in the summer of 2023. Military items, war trophies, awards and photographs of the Russian occupiers fighting against Ukraine are on display there.
