The Russian criminal army shelled the cities of Toretsk and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, killing at least four civilians.

What are the consequences of the Russian shelling of Toretsk and Avdiivka

According to representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, at around 8 am, Russian war criminals shelled Toretsk with artillery.

A 67-year-old woman died as a result of enemy shelling in her own yard.

At the same time, a 74-year-old local resident died on the road near the local hospital.

In addition, Russian war criminals shelled the village of Severnye near Toretsk and killed a 73-year-old man and wounded another 62-year-old local resident.

Representatives of the prosecutor's office noted that two hours later, the occupying Russian army shelled Avdiivka.

A projectile hit a private house, as a result of which a 61-year-old citizen died, and his 56-year-old wife was buried under the rubble.

After receiving emergency medical care, the victim was hospitalised with an open skull fracture and brain contusion, multiple shrapnel wounds throughout her body. The victim's condition is currently assessed as serious, the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.

It is noted that Russian war criminals also attacked Kostyantynivka.

As a result of enemy shelling, a 61-year-old woman died in her own house after shrapnel from a Russian projectile pierced her chest and abdomen.

Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to record war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population of the region. Pre-trial investigations have been launched in criminal proceedings for violations of the laws and customs of war.

What is known about the attacks of the Russian army in other regions

In the afternoon of December 26, an air raid alert was announced in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Local residents reported hearing explosions.

At the same time, the Air Force warned before the explosions that Russians had launched two missiles in the direction of Dnipro.

Later, representatives of the Shid Air Force Command reported the destruction of two Kh-59 guided missiles of the Russia's criminal army in the territory of the Dnipro region.

A unit of the Shid Air Command destroyed two Kh-59 guided missiles in the Dniprovsky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, the military said in a statement.
