The Ukrainian MFA chief, Dmytro Kuleba, called on the West to respond decisively to the attack and to speed up the provision of additional air defense systems and ammunition, long-range missiles, and drones to Ukraine to approve the use of frozen Russian assets and to isolate Russian diplomats.
Ms. Bridget Brink, the US ambassador to Ukraine, noted, "It is extremely important to support Ukraine now to stop Putin."
The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, emphasised that "unchanged international support is crucial for Ukrainians to be able to protect their sovereignty and people."
Mrs. Katarina Maternova, the ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine, said that "now Ukraine needs more support to save lives. Russia will be held accountable."
Five people died as a result of a massive missile attack in Ukraine, and at least 90 were injured. Kyiv and Kharkiv were under attack.
