Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, officially confirmed that her country has decided to hand over all of its artillery to the Armed Forces.

Ukraine will receive all the artillery of Denmark

Mette Frederiksen made this statement during a speech at the 7th Ukrainian lunch in Munich.

According to her, during the discussions at the Munich Security Conference, little is said about the importance of the weapons that Ukraine needs now.

The Danish prime minister points out that European leaders often cite problems with the production of weapons as an obstacle to increasing supplies, and are currently opening new defense enterprises for the future.

But Ukraine is asking us for ammunition and artillery now. We, Denmark, have decided to transfer all our artillery to Ukraine. So, sorry, friends, there is military equipment in Europe, it is not only a matter of production. We have weapons, ammunition, air defense systems, which we do not use yet. They should be handed over to Ukraine.

In her opinion, regardless of what is currently happening in the States, the European Union must finally take responsibility for itself and its security.

We need to do more, - stressed the Prime Minister of Denmark.

Ukraine and Denmark agreed to start negotiations on "security guarantees"

On January 26, it became officially known that Ukraine and Denmark officially agreed to start negotiations on signing an agreement on security guarantees within the framework of the Vilnius Declaration.

Of course, I discussed this with my Ukrainian colleague Dmytro Kuleba, and we agreed that we will now start specific negotiations about our security obligations. And I hope that in the near future we will agree on a bilateral agreement between Denmark and Ukraine, - said the head of the Foreign Ministry of Denmark, Lars Locke Rasmussen.

According to him, "concrete ways in which Denmark can help Ukraine regain control over its entire territory" have already been discussed.
