The deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Ryabkov, cynically claims that a truce based on Volodymyr Zelenskyy's "Peace Formula" is impossible, therefore, Moscow will not discuss anything with Ukraine.

Russian propagandists asked the scandalous diplomat whether he sees "the readiness of the US to force Ukraine to a truce next year."
According to Lavrov's deputy, nothing is happening, although rumours about it constantly appear in the mass media.
No, it's not that nothing like that is invisible, but I can't even imagine it at the current stage. If the American colleagues have any ideas on this matter, they have the right, of course, and are free to express them in any form. We will listen to them. But they should not turn to us, but to Kyiv. There is nothing to discuss with us on the conditions put forward by Ukraine, the representative of the Russian MFA cynically stated .
Sergei Ryabkov also complained that the United States still "stands at the head of the Western group that repeats Zelenskyy's "peace formula" as a mantra, saying that this is the only basis for agreements."
But on such a basis, not only will no agreements be reached, but dialogue is also impossible. Therefore, we are not ready to consider anything with the USA on this basis. They should work with their "wards," the Russian diplomat added.
Kremlin propagandists also asked the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry whether a truce is possible in 2024.
I don't just expect a truce, I expect that the “SMO” goals (means “Special Military Operation”; that's what Russia calls the war against Ukraine —ed.) will certainly be achieved, — he answered with bravado.
Russia is ready to go to war with NATO
It is worth noting that Sergei Ryabkov did not stop at Ukraine and declared that the Russian Federation is ready for an armed conflict with the Alliance, as relations with the bloc have finally deteriorated in Moscow.
Totally and completely the choice is on NATO's side. We are ready, as it has already been demonstrated, to protect our national interests with all the means at our disposal, the Russian diplomat said.
