As a reminder, the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed the cruiser "Moscow" in April 2022.

Destruction of the cruiser "Moscow"

The missile cruiser "Moscow" sank on April 14, 2022. The day before, it was hit by Ukrainian troops with two Neptune missiles when the cruiser was in the area of Snake Island.

On the evening of April 14, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the cruiser lost its stability due to an ammunition explosion and sank in a storm.

According to Ukraine, only 58 of the 510 crew were saved.

It is worth noting that "Moskva" is the first lost flagship of the Russian fleet since the Russo-Japanese War.
