There are no methods of political struggle in Russia, so Russian volunteers carry out an armed raid on the territory of Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Why Russian volunteers went with a raid on the territory of the Russian Federation

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) speaker, Andriy Yusov, answered on Radio Svoboda whether the armed raid on the territory of the Russian Federation is connected with the presidential elections scheduled for March 15-17 in this country.

The RVC ("Russian Volunteer Corps" — ed.), the Legion "Freedom of Russia" and "Sibbat" ("Siberian Battalion" — ed.) are military units. These are people with active civic and political positions who are deprived of any methods of parliamentary struggle at home. Most representatives of the Russian parliamentary opposition have either been physically destroyed, like Nemtsov and Navalny or are behind bars or in exile. Putin left this method of armed struggle for his active citizens.

Yusov added that "there are no secrets" about where the Russian volunteers get their weapons.

A full-scale war has been going on in Ukraine for more than two years. We are also talking about "trophy" weapons, about "re-trophied". If we are talking about the actions of the Ukrainian security and defence forces, of course Ukrainian weapons, of Ukrainian production, — said Yusov.

Russian volunteers are on raid on Russia's territory

On the morning of Mar. 12, the LFR, RVC and Sibbat representatives entered the territory of the Russian Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Fighting was going on in the border settlements. The LFR reported about the destroyed Russian armoured personnel vehicle.
