DIU says the destruction of facilities tied to Russia's army will continue

Commenting on the drone attack on the night of March 12 in Russia, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) noted that the work on the destruction of those facilities provided by Russian troops will continue.

The DIU speaker, Andrii Yusov, commented on the fires at Russian facilities that were hit by attack drones on the night of March 12.

It is known about the rumble explosions and other incidents at several military facilities, which are used by the enemy for military purposes, in particular, to support the occupation group "Rashists" in Ukraine. All that is used for military purposes - one way or another, such incidents happen to them.

According to Yusov, the DIU can't comment on how the objects in Russia were attacked, but the work to destroy those provided by the Russian troops will continue.

Drone attack in Russia on March 12

On the night of March 12, seven Russian regions: Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Oryol, Moskva, Tula and Nizhny Novgorod — reported a drone attack.

A drone hit the Lukoil oil depot in Kstovo of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which caused a fire. The company reported that the work of the technological plant for oil processing was stopped due to the incident.

The attacked oil refinery near Nizhny Novgorod, 800 km from Ukraine, produced 15 million tons annually.

In Oryol, the attack caused a fire at an oil depot and a leak of oil products.
