What is known about drone attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation
The agency of the aggressor states that this air attack during the night of March 10 was repelled. The Russian side traditionally accuses Ukraine of drone attacks.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, an "attempt" to carry out an attack using an aircraft-type UAV on unspecified objects in the country was "stopped".
However, about half an hour later, the Russian Ministry issued a new message, also about the work of air defense on two drones in the same region.
It says that around 06:40 local time, two Ukrainian drones were also "destroyed" in the sky over the Belgorod Region.
Russia is repeatedly attacked by drones
The day before, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on the night of March 8, a mass drone attack was allegedly repelled, and air defense systems were operating in several regions. In particular, it was about shooting down drones over the territory of Volgograd and Belgorod regions.
It was previously reported that on March 6, drones attacked three regions — an airfield, a warehouse, and an oil depot were under attack.
Also before that, drones attacked an oil depot in the Belgorod region. GUR confirmed the operation.
In addition, on the night of March 2, explosions rang out in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. The Russians announced a drone attack, and the network wrote that debris from the work of Russian air defense fell in a residential area and damaged a house.
And on the afternoon of March 2, the Russians complained about a drone attack in the Bryansk region. There, an unknown drone attacked a group of employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The investigator and the forensic investigator were injured, and two more employees of the department were contused.
