The commander of the Kastus Kalynovsky Regiment, Denys "Whale" Prokhorov, told online.ua in an interview what to expect from the Belarusian people when Ukraine finally defeats the Russian army.

Belarusians can overthrow Lukashenka's regime

Despite the fact that the Russian army attacked the north of Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, most Belarusians expect the victory of the Ukrainian people in this war of aggression, because they have not forgotten the year 2020, when they tried to overthrow the regime of dictator Oleksandr Lukashenko.

I hope that the Belarusian people will have a chance to finally overthrow the power of Lukashenka and return their lands, culture, and language. Just a spark is enough for everything to ignite again.

Denys "Whale" Prokhorov reminds that 4 years ago elections were held in the Republic of Belarus, during which the official Minsk sneered at the voice of the people.

The Lukashenko regime then seized power over the country through murder and violence.

According to the commander of the Kastus Kalynovskyi Regiment, the year 2020 for Belarusians is not an attempt at revolution, but an attempt to express their idea.

As you know, that's when people came out under white-red-white flags and said: "We don't agree, return our votes." The people were chased and beaten, says Denys "Whale" Prokhorov.

Belarusians were not ready for war with Russia

What is important to understand is that in 2020, the Belarusian people were counting on civilization, but they saw a bloodthirsty savage who will do anything not to lose power.

The commander of the Kastus Kalinovskyi Regiment notes that at that time Lukashenko was hoping for Putin's help.

Moreover, as is known, regular troops of the Russian Federation were prepared on the border with Belarus in order to monitor the situation.

If something suddenly went wrong, Belarus might face hostilities on its territory. And here the question is whether the Belarusian people were ready for such a thing. Why didn't the Belarusians succeed? Because there was no attempt at a revolution. And were the Belarusians ready for war? Not everyone can answer that.
