The deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmytry Medvedev, once again dreamed of capturing Kyiv and Odesa. He was advised to seek mental health counselling in the EU.
The EU reacted to Medvedev's new threats
During a briefing in Brussels, EU spokesman Peter Stano answered the Ukrinform correspondent's questions about the henchman's statements of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
We usually do not comment on the words of people who are attempting to draw attention to themselves, especially if it is an internal ‘number two’ for some reason. Although it is commendable that the person you mentioned publicly broadcasts his mental health diagnosis, all that can be said here is to recommend consultations and specialist help. With the billions of dollars that Russia has spent on the war against Ukraine, Moscow could find money for programmes to keep its citizens healthy as well.

What Dmytro Medvedev said
In an interview with the Russian mass media, Medvedev said that the Russian troops will have to reach Kyiv again, "if not now, then in some time" to achieve the "SMO goals".
Will it be Kyiv? Yes, probably it should be Kyiv too. If not now, then after some time, perhaps in some other phase of the development of this conflict, dreamed ex Russian president.
Medvedev added that Kyiv is allegedly a "Russian city" and that "an international threat to the existence of the Russian Federation emanates from it."
Putin's henchman also mentioned Odesa, calling it a "Russian city".
