According to James Stavridis, a retired US Navy admiral and ex-Commander-in-chief of NATO forces in Europe, the Ukrainian military has destroyed half of the occupying Russian army.

What is known about the insane losses of the Russian army in Ukraine

Stavridis emphasized that the Ukrainian military is doing the right thing and the US should continue to provide military support to Ukraine.

This is a very dangerous situation, and the real action is not actually taking place in Kyiv. The real actions are in Washington, Stavridis emphasized.

According to him, in less than two years, the Kremlin lost half of its occupation army in the war against Ukraine, while the US did not lose any of its military and did not even put it at risk.

How much did it cost the United States to destroy half of the Russian army in Ukraine?

Stavridis emphasized that this was done within the limits equivalent to 5% of the annual defence budget.

Journalists of the publication are inclined to the fact that members of Congress will most likely not meet before the end of the year to approve President Joe Biden's request for military support to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

And because of this, negotiations on a new aid package for the Ukrainian state will be postponed until 2024.

We can afford it, and we should. Therefore, I am worried about the war in Ukraine only if the USA and our European allies are not able to fulfill the obligations we have undertaken to support Ukraine, Stavridis emphasized regarding the need for US assistance to Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden has requested $61 billion for Ukraine. Still, the money is being delayed as Republican lawmakers say they won't pass the aid package unless more attention is paid to the country's southern border first.
