UN reacted to the massive attacks of Russian army on Ukraine

According to Barbara Woodward, the UK's representative to the UN, the only source of grief, suffering and tragedy in Ukraine is the criminal aggression of the occupying Russian army.

At the same time, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Mohamed Khaled Khiari, said after the UN Security Council meeting that 2023 would end "tragically" for Ukrainians.

It is tragic that 2023 will end the same way it began — with devastating violence against the people of Ukraine, the UN representative stressed.

For the second year in a row, Russia has been forcing Ukrainians to celebrate the winter holidays in bomb shelters, clear the rubble, search for victims of Russian aggression, he stressed.

Most members of the Security Council, including the United States, France and the United Kingdom, condemned Russia's massive attack on Ukraine.
