The Ministry of Defense is considering a new way of serving summonses
The day before, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umierov, said that the Ministry of Defense is considering inviting men to the territorial recruitment centres through an electronic notification.
Such invitations can also be received by citizens of Ukraine who are abroad: "If we have already decided on the categories, we will send the invitation to everyone."
Umerov added that the Ministry of Defense is working on technical solutions to make this process civilized.
In early December, Fedir Venislavskyy, a former representative of the president in the Rada and a member of the Committee on National Security and Defense, said that the Verkhovna Rada was discussing the possibility of serving summonses via e-mail and registered letter.
