Ukrainian fighters recaptured spoil heaps in Horlivka
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the assault group of the 24th Separate Mechanised Royal Brigade named after King Danylo had recaptured the spoil heaps in Horlivka.
Despite the difficult conditions, it recaptured one of the spoil heaps within Horlivka and captured the enemy's positions. Now our flag is flying over the waste heap. Horlivka is Ukraine! Donbass is Ukraine!

Horlivka in Donetsk Oblast has been under Russian occupation since 12 May 2014.
Armed forces advanced towards Horlivka
In late November, Roman Svitan, a reserve colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a military expert, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had advanced towards Horlivka in the area of Shumy and Pivdenne.
Soldiers from this direction reported that the Russians had already been driven out of Terikon and that the town was 7-8 kilometres away.
Probably, the direction we have been talking about is now becoming more active. When it rains in Donbass, it will be possible to move only on paved roads. The best place to do this is in the Horlivka-Yenakiieve agglomeration, and the second best place is the Yasinovata agglomeration.
