President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the assault group of the 24th Separate Mechanised Royal Brigade named after King Danylo had recaptured the spoil heaps in Horlivka.
The video shows Russians who were captured in a field. It also shows footage of the operation.
Horlivka in Donetsk Oblast has been under Russian occupation since 12 May 2014.
Armed forces advanced towards Horlivka
In late November, Roman Svitan, a reserve colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a military expert, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had advanced towards Horlivka in the area of Shumy and Pivdenne.
Soldiers from this direction reported that the Russians had already been driven out of Terikon and that the town was 7-8 kilometres away.
