On February 9, it was officially announced that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of "Hero of Ukraine" to ex-commander-in-chief of AFU, Gen Valerii Zaluzhnyi and chief of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Lieut Gen Kyrylo Budanov.
