French President Emmanuel Macron unexpectedly announced that France's support for Ukraine had "no limits" and "red lines" anymore.

Macron emphasises Ukraine can count on 100% support from France

The Le Monde journalists found out that the president made a loud statement during a meeting with the leaders of the French political forces at the Elysées Palace on March 7.

It is stated that Emmanuel Macron convened the head of political forces to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

There is no consensus today to send ground troops in an official, assumed, and endorsed manner, but nothing must be excluded dynamically.

According to MEP Jordan Bardella, leader of the "National Union" party, Macron told the politicians there were "no limits" on France's support for Ukraine.

This information was also confirmed by the national secretary of the French Communist Party, Fabien Roussel.

France's position has changed: there are no more red lines, no more borders, Roussel explained.

Macron's decisive statement about Ukraine frightened the French authorities

The majority of French politicians who were present at the meeting criticised the president's statement.

It not just only shocked them but also scared them.

From the moment we consider the hypothesis of sending French soldiers and soldiers of the French army, in any case we make this hypothesis known, to a nuclear power like Russia, it is irresponsible and extremely dangerous for world peace, said Bardella.

The coordinator of La France insoumise, Manuel Bompard, also commented on this matter.

According to the latter, he was worried about Macron's previous statements, but this onbothereded him even more.

Bompard also believes the French leader "does not measure the risk of his military stubbornness."

Journalists also learned that Macron met with his predecessors — Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande the day before.

The latter gave the current president of France new advice.

Don't say what you are doing, but do what you haven't said. This is what allows us to be most effective, said Hollande.
