Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed over 700 Russian occupiers, 20 artillery systems and 16 tanks in the last 24 hours, according to the General Staff. The Ukrainian military continues to destroy the military of the Russian aggressor. As of today, the total number of Russian troop losses is 358,270.
What is known about the losses of Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces destroyed 750 Russian invaders during the last 24 hours as well as the following equipment:
tanks - 5969 (+16) units;
armored combat vehicles - 11,053 (+20) units;
artillery systems - 8434 (+17) units;
multiple rocket launchers - 939 (+1) units;
air defence equipment - 621 (+1) units;
aircraft - 329 units;
helicopters - 324 units;
UAVs of operational-tactical level - 6554 (+15) units;
cruise missiles - 1708 (+88) units;
ships/boats - 23 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 11,244 (+29) units;
special equipment - 1260 (+6) units.
What is the situation at the front
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 2 attacks by the occupiers in the Bohdanivka and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region.
In the zone of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, during the past day, the Defence Forces repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka and carried out 21 attacks near Pivnichne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the onetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Defence Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region, where 9 attacks were repelled.
The occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsk direction.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defence Forces repelled 2 enemy attacks west and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, our soldiers will continue measures to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock out Ukrainian units from their positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out more than 10 unsuccessful assaults.
