During the Mar. 1, the aviation of the defence forces of Ukraine struck 13 areas of personnel concentration of the Russian army.

What is happening in different parts of the front

AFU General Staff provided operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 18.00 on 01.03.2024.

In total, the enemy launched six missiles and 79 air strikes, making 62 MLRS shellings against the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Kupiansk's direction.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of Terny and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of our troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, the defence forces repelled four enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka and Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve their tactical position.

Our defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the direction of Avdiivka.

In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and south of Zolota Nyva of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 25 times.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations in the Orikhiv and the Kherson directions.

New AFU's successes in the war against the Russian army

During the day, the aviation of the defence forces struck 13 areas of enemy personnel concentration.

AFU missile troops units hit one area of military equipment concentration, two artillery systems, three control points and three enemy ammunition depots.
