General Staff Latest: AFU destroyed more than 900 Russian soldiers, 20 tanks and 19 artillery systems

What is known about the losses of the Russian army

According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed 920 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:

• tanks — 6167 (+20) units;

• armoured personnel vehicles — 11,445 (+35) units;

• artillery systems — 8,854 (+19) units;

• MRLS — 966 units;

• anti-aircraft warfare systems — 654 (+1) units;

• aircraft — 331 units;

• helicopters — 324 units;

• UAV operational-tactical level — 6929 (+4) units;

• cruise missiles - 1,818 units;

• warships/boats — 23 units;

• submarines — 1 unit;

• vehicles and fuel trucks — 11,831 (+37) units;

• special equipment — 1384 (+4) units.

What is the situation at the front?

In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks near the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Tabaivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks near Terny, Yampolivka, Donetsk region, and another eight attacks in the areas of Serebryansk forestry and Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks near Bohdanivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, during the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 27 enemy attacks in the Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, and Avdiivka districts and another 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, defenders continued to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Maiyinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where 15 attacks were repulsed.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks west of Staromayorske and south of Urozhaine of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repulsed five enemy attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kherson's direction, the Defense Forces are continuing measures to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out 11 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of our troops.
