The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 398,140 soldiers.

What is known about the losses of the Russian army

According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,060 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:

  • tanks — 6,433 (+9) units;

  • armoured personnel vehicles — 12,043 (+39) units;

  • artillery systems — 9,566 (+66) units;

  • MLRS — 984 (+3) units;

  • anti-aircraft warfare systems — 671 (+4) units;

  • aircraft — 332 units;

  • helicopters — 325 units;

  • UAV operational-tactical level — 7371 (+39) units;

  • cruise missiles — 1,882 units;

  • warships/boats — 24 units;

  • submarines — 1 unit;

  • vehicles and fuel tanks — 12,662 (+39) units;

  • special equipment — 1523 (+5) units.

What is the situation at the front?

On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along

On the Kupiansk direction the enemy did not carry out offensive actions.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks in the Yampolivka of Donetsk and Bilogorivka of Luhansk regions.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defence Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivskyi, and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers are firmly holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. During the past day, the defense forces repelled 20 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area and four more attacks near Nevelske of the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the enemy near Heorgiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 27 times to improve the tactical position.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks east of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, the General Staff notes.

In Kherson's direction, the Defence Forces will continue to hold positions and repulse assaults by occupation forces.
