The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 421,430 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces destroyed 1,160 Russian invaders during the day, and the following were eliminated from the equipment:
tanks — 6,695 (+17) units;
armoured personnel vehicles — 12,779 (+51) units;
artillery systems — 10,350 (+42) units;
MLRS — 1009 (+1) units;
anti-aircraft warfare system — 701 units;
aircraft — 347 units;
helicopters — 325 units;
UAV operational-tactical level — 7963 (+42) units;
cruise missiles — 1,919 (+1) units;
warships/boats — 26 units;
submarines — 1 unit;
vehicle and fuel tanks — 13,532 (+53) units;
special equipment — 1647 (+5) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Kupiansk direction, defence forces repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka and Tabaivka settlements of the Kharkiv region.
In Lyman's direction, the defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Terny and Spirne of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks near the settlements of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 21 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomayske and Nevelske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defence Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 20 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defence Forces will continue to hold positions. During the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful assault operation, the General Staff notes.
