The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 390,580 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,020 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:
tanks — 6365 (+17) units;
armoured personnel vehicles — 11,857 (+35) units;
artillery systems — 9367 (+18) units;
MLRS — 979 units;
anti-aircraft warfare systems — 665 (+1) units;
aircraft — 332 units;
helicopters — 324 units;
UAV operational-tactical level — 7,173 units;
cruise missiles — 1848 units;
ships/boats — 24 units;
submarines — 1 unit;
vehicles and fuel tanks — 12,453 (+41) units;
special equipment — 1496 (+10) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled eight attacks near Synkivka of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to break through the defence of our troops.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 20 enemy attacks near Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Terny, Torske and Hryhorivka of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defence Forces repelled ten enemy attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanovske, and Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
During the past day, the defence forces repelled 29 enemy attacks in the area of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka settlements and another 16 attacks south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region, the General Staff notes.
In the Mariinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the invaders near Georgiyivka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, where 26 attacks were repelled.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces will continue to hold positions and repulse assaults by occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions.
