The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 417,950 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,150 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:
tanks — 6,648 (+8) units;
armoured personnel vehicles — 12,660 (+21) units;
artillery systems — 10,210 (+22) units;
MLRS — 1004 (+1) units;
anti-aircraft warfare systems — 698 (+2) units;
aircraft — 347 units;
helicopters — 325 units;
UAV operational-tactical level — 7,845 (+2) units;
cruise missiles — 1,916 (+1) units;
warships/boats — 25 units;
submarines — 1 unit;
vehicle and fuel tanks — 13,374 (+42) units;
special equipment — 1621 (+1) units.
What is the situation at the front?
During the day, the aviation of the defence forces struck seven areas of enemy personnel concentration.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the Synkivka and Tabaivka settlements of the Kharkiv region, unsuccessfully trying to improve their tactical position.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks in Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, Terny and Verkhnokamianske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, defence forces repelled five enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske and Nevelske settlements of the Donetsk region.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops more than 30 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched three unsuccessful attacks near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defence Forces will continue to hold positions. The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions, the General Staff notes.
