The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 426,870 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 980 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:
tanks — 6752 (+5) units;
armoured personnel vehicles — 12,921 (+20) units;
artillery systems — 10,554 (+32) units;
MLRS — 1017 (+1) units;
anti-aircraft warfare systems — 715 (+2) units;
aircraft — 347 units;
helicopters — 325 units;
UAV operational-tactical level — 8205 (+22) units;
cruise missiles — 1,919 (+1) units;
warships/boats — 26 units;
submarines — 1 unit;
vehicles and fuel tanks — 13,932 (+62) units;
special equipment — 1699 (+8) units.
What is the situation at the front?
During the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation struck nine areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated.
Units of the AFU missile forces damaged three areas of concentration of personnel, artillery, ammunition depots and two enemy anti-aircraft vehicles.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the Synkivka and Tabaivka settlements of the Kharkiv region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas east of Chasiv Yar, Ivanovske, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 26 enemy attacks in the Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the districts of Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region. With the support of aviation, the enemy tried 26 times to break through the defences of our troops.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, 3 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of our troops were carried out, the General Staff notes.
