What is happening in different parts of the front
The General Staff of the Armed Forces provided operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 18.00 on 15.02.2024.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
During the day, 51 combat clashes took place.
In total, the enemy carried out 30 missiles and 56 air strikes. Also, Russians carried out 70 MRLS at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy carried out airstrikes in Okhrimivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Chorne, and Kolodyazne settlements of the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled an attack in the Ivanivka settlement of Kharkiv region, where the enemy also launched an airstrike. About ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repulsed five attacks near Terny, Yampolivka, and Vesele of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defence of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Novolyubivka and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Terny and Novosadove in the Donetsk region. More than ten settlements were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repelled nine attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical position.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 14 attacks in the Avdiivka area and one more attack near Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, continued to try to capture Avdiivka.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defence Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 17 times to break through the defence of our troops.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks south of Prechystivka and near Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Zaporozhzhia's direction.
In Kherson's direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, one attempt was made to storm the positions of our troops.
