In Kherson's direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, one attempt was made to storm the positions of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
What is happening in different parts of the front
The General Staff of the Armed Forces provided operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 18.00 on 02/27/2024.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
During the day, 86 combat clashes took place.
In total, the enemy launched four missiles and made 52 airstrikes and 94 MLRS attacks at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Kupiansk direction, the defence forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in Synkivka and Tabaiivka settlements, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to knock our troops out of their positions.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repulsed nine enemy attacks in the Terny settlement of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops.
In the Bakhmut direction, defence forces repelled six enemy attacks in the Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve their tactical position.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks in Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke and Pervomaiske settlements of the Donetsk region.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and west of Pobieda of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried 15 times to break through the defences of our troops and also repelled four more enemy attacks in the areas south of Vugledar, Staromayorske and Urozhaine of the Donetsk region.
In the Orihiv direction, defence forces repelled six enemy attacks in Malynivka and Robotyne settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.

New AFU's successes in the war against Russia
During the day, the AFU aviation struck 15 areas of enemy personnel concentration. Also, the Air Force destroyed 2 Su-34 aircraft and four reconnaissance UAVs.
AFU missile troops units damaged three areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, two artillery systems, an anti-aircraft warfare system and the enemy's radar station.
