During Mar. 5, 76 combat clashes occurred between the Defence Forces and the Russian occupiers. The Russian troops carried out two missile strikes, 67 air strikes and carried out 95 attacks from MLRS.
AFU attacked a Russian ship and a Russian air defence system
AFU General Staff reports that during the day, the Air Force struck 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Units of the AFU missile forces inflicted damage on:
One area of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration,
One ammunition warehouse,
One Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system,
One Zoopark-1 radar complex of intelligence and fire control.
Also, on the night of Mar. 5, the Russian project 22160 ship "Sergei Kotov" with the crew on board, was hit due to the DIU operation. The information regarding the stay on board the Ka-29 ship transport combat helicopter is being checked.
The situation on the front line
In the Lyman direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled five enemy attacks in the Terny of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction , the defense forces repelled one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Bila Hora in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Semenivka and Orlivka settlements.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 34 times to break through the defences of the Ukrainian troops in the areas of Georhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechistivka, and Krasnohorivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched five unsuccessful attacks in Huliaipole, Malynivka and Robotyne settlements.
In Kherson's direction, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assaults with the intention of knocking out the Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
