In Ukraine, 80 combat clashes occurred at the front during the day. The enemy is trying to attack in the Lyman, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions.
What is known about the situation at the front
During the past day, 80 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched three missiles and 43 air strikes and carried out 102 MLRS attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other objects of civil infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.
At night, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine, using four combat drones of the "Shahed-136/131" type. All enemy UAVs were destroyed by air defence.
Airstrikes took place in Vilkhuvatka, Petropavlivka, and Borova of the Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region; Rozdolivka, Zhelanne, Berdychi, Tonenke, Solovyove, Orlivka, Umanske and Semenivka of the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The situation at the fronts
On Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, defenders repelled two attacks in the Tabaiivka area of the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled ten enemy attacks near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Terny and southeast of Vyimka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, our soldiers repelled eight attacks by the occupiers near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repulsed five enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyne and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, defenders continue to hold back the enemy in the Donetsk region's Georhiivka, Pobyeda, and Novomykhailivka. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 18 times to break through the defence of our troops.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions toward Novopavlivsk.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried ten times to attack the positions of our troops near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson's direction, the Defence Forces continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy made 16 unsuccessful assaults.
Losses of the enemy
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Also, our air defence destroyed a Su-34 fighter bomber and one "Orlan-10" reconnaissance UAV in the eastern direction.
Units of the missile forces struck one personnel concentration area, three control points, and two enemy ammunition depots.
