During the day, the Ukrainian military repelled 58 attacks by the criminal army of the Russian Federation in the south and east of Ukraine and, as part of a special operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, sank the Russian missile corvette "Ivanovets" near the occupied Crimea.

What is known about the consequences of the attacks of the Russian army on Ukraine

It is noted that the Russian occupiers launched two missiles over Ukraine during the day; one of them was a Kh-59 cruise missile at civil infrastructure facilities in Myrnograd of the Donetsk region.

The occupiers also carried out 66 airstrikes and made 38 MLRS shells at the positions of the Armed Forces and civilian infrastructure objects.

As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population.

Residential private and multi-apartment buildings, a school and other civil infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

What is known about the situation in certain areas of the front

  • On Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.

  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

  • In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled five attacks near Ivanivka of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to break through the defence of our troops.

  • In the Lyman direction, our defenders repulsed an attack near Terny of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops.

  • In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repulsed an attack near Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position.

  • In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 15 attacks in the Avdiivka area and another five — near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops.

  • In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnogorivka, Georhiivka, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region. Here, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position 11 times.

  • The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Shakhtarsk's direction.

  • In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region.

  • In Kherson's direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to knock out Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, 13 unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our troops were made during the day.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and one enemy anti-aircraft warfare system.

Units of the missile forces struck two areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, four artillery units and the enemy's EW station.

Also, on the night of February 1, a missile corvette of the 41st Missile Boat Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was destroyed in the western part of the temporarily occupied Crimea by the forces of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
