The Ukrainian military continues to eliminate Russian troops. The total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is 368,460.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces killed 840 Russian invaders over the day, and destroyed:
tanks — 6060 (+10) units
armored fighting vehicles — 11,254 (+16) units;
artillery systems — 8710 (+11) units;
multiple launch rocket launchers — 957 units;
air defence equipment — 642 (+1) units;
aircraft — 329 units;
helicopters — 324 units;
UAVs of operational and tactical level — 6836 (+1) units;
cruise missiles - 1,806 units;
ships/boats — 23 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks — 11,612 (+16) units;
special equipment -1339 (+2) units.
The situation at the front
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Synkivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector, our defenders repelled 6 occupants' attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region, and east of Terny, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack near Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is continuing to try to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
Thus, over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and another 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region.
In the Mariinsky direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the occupants in the areas of Heorhiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 13 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled three enemy attacks west of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to drive our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assault operations on the positions of the defence forces.
