According to the official Tbilisi, to normalise relations, "it is essential that the Ukrainian authorities deport the criminals currently holding high positions in its administration to Georgia.
What is important to understand is the reaction of the Georgian authorities to the inclusion of Zurab Adeishvili in the official delegation of Ukraine to the EU and Germany.
The statement emphasises that high positions in the Ukrainian government are held by persons who are wanted or convicted on various charges in Georgia.
In this regard, the fact that Zurab Adeishvili holds the position of adviser to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, and Heorhiy Lortkipanidze is the deputy head of the Counterintelligence Service of Ukraine, is of particular concern, says the letter of the Georgian government.
The Tbilisi official also claims that he was surprised by the decision taken by the Ukrainian authorities.

Even 12 years ago, several charges were announced against Adeishvili — this happened against the background of a change of government in Georgia.
The politician himself considers them politically motivated. In recent years, he has been working in Ukraine.
The Georgian authorities have repeatedly tried to declare Adeishvili an internationally wanted man.
Lortkipanidze is accused of illegally crossing the state border by Mikheil Saakashvili. The Georgian prosecutor's office claims that it was Lortkipanidze who developed the plan and route for the illegal return of the ex-president to his homeland.
