According to the chief of German diplomacy, Annalena Baerbock, the mistake of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is that he believes in the weakening of Western aid to Ukraine.

The West will help Ukraine until its final victory in the war

The German Foreign Ministry chief notes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his team still hope that Western support for Ukraine is beginning to weaken. However, this is not the case.

Annalena Baerbock made such a statement after meeting with French and Polish colleagues.

If Putin believes that our strength has faltered, that our support is fading, he is entirely mistaken.

The German diplomat claims that EU members will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary.

She believes this support can become even more effective if Poland, France and Germany strengthen coordination in the coming months and years.

The billions we are investing in Ukraine are also billions in our own security, explained the head of German diplomacy.

Annalena Baerbock also notes that U members should cooperate even more closely in defence projects and purchases in the future.

There is already talk about the need for "second life insurance" in Europe

French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné recently called for the creation of an additional security structure in addition to NATO, following FORMER US President Donald Trump's claims of "encouraging Russia" to attack the Alliance.

Yes, we need a second life insurance, not instead of or against NATO, but in addition (to it. — ed.), he declared.

In his turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, noted that "the North Atlantic Alliance is not a contract with the security service."
