Russia has been trying to get ballistic missiles from Iran since last year, but no solutions have been reached yet. Ukrainian military intelligence has such data.

The Russian Federation and Iran did not agree on the transfer of missiles

A representative of Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Col. Andrii Chernyak, said that the Russian Federation has been trying to obtain missiles from Iran since last year.

These are, in particular, Fateh-110 and Zolfagar ballistic missiles. The aggressor state is really working very hard in this direction, making serious diplomatic efforts, which, however, are currently unsuccessful.

However, according to the DIU, no such deliveries have been recorded.

According to our data, there are currently no relevant decisions or agreements between Moscow and Tehran.

The US is concerned about the possibility of transferring missiles to Russia

According to the WSJ, the White House was concerned about the Ababil and Fateh-110 missiles demonstrated by Iran during the visit of the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, to Tehran in September of this year.

According to the spokesman of the US National Security Council at the White House, John Kirby, the authorities of Iran are considering the possible transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia for their use in the war against Ukraine.

The US also believes Iran is becoming an increasingly important partner of the Russian Federation while benefiting from this relationship.

According to a spokesman for the US National Security Council, Russia is helping Iran improve its satellite assembly capabilities and providing the country with missiles, air defense systems and military electronics.
