The Russian aggressors may increasingly try to advance in several areas of the front before the presidential elections in the aggressor country. Such a warning was issued by an officer of the Armed Forces, journalist Taras Berezovets.

The aggravation at the front may continue for several more months

According to the soldier's data, the fiercest battles continue in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Mariinka and Avdiivka directions.

It is obvious that the offensive actions of the Russian armed forces will continue at least until the end of the presidential campaign in Russia. Why is it so? [Because] Putin needs to show results, to show that he is the president of a country at war, Taras Berezovets explained.

It is important to understand that presidential elections in the aggressor country are scheduled for March 15-17, 2024.

The Russian government is trying to rotate the army

The AFU officer also said that the Russian invaders were carrying out rotational measures, but they had serious problems in the process.

According to him, the enemy has already started resorting to non-trivial methods to lure new recruits to the army. First of all, it is about planting drugs or weapons.

Then they are given a choice: either go to the jail or sign a contract with the [Russian] armed forces, Taras Berezovets says.

Moreover, it is indicated that desertion in the ranks of the enemy's army has significantly increased.

The AFU officer notes that only 5,000 cases have been initiated in the aggressor country recently.
