Ignat emphasised that Western weapons strengthened Ukrainian air defense, but more modern means were needed.

What is known about the night attack
Since the evening of December 30, AFU Air Force has been reporting on the launches of the "Shaheds". Drones were known to move toward Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Kyiv regions.
Later, the Air Force clarified that the occupiers launched 49 "Shaheds", of which Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 21.
It is known that the Russians attacked Kharkiv with "Shaheds" after the missile terror. There were hits in the middle of the city.
Also, in the Kyiv region, a fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility due to the fall of fragments of downed drones.
