The Russian Army changed the tactics of drone attacks in Ukraine — AFU Air Force spokesman

AFU Air defense

According to the Air Force Command spokesman, Yuriy Ignat, the criminal army of the Russian Federation began to use Iranian attack drones of the "Shahed" type differently during attacks on Ukraine.

What is known about the change in tactics of UAV attacks of the Russian army in Ukraine

Ignat emphasized that the enemy has changed the emphasis of the direction of drone attacks. Currently, the vast majority of the last wave of drones, in the amount of 49 units, were not headed for the central part of Ukraine.

Most of these kamikaze drones, out of 49, were aimed at front-line territory. That is, the line of defense, in fact, where our fighters stand, as well as the front-line territories of such regions as Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhya, the Air Force spokesperson.

He emphasized that this is not the first time that the Russian occupiers have used Iranian strike drones "Shahed" in this way.

Earlier, as you can see, drones flew into the middle of the country, because "Shahed" is a long-range, high-precision weapon... The enemy is changing the focus of its attacks, and now there are more UAVs in the front-line territory. It is clear that it is not so easy to immediately shoot down something that has just flown in from enemy territory, Air Force speaker said.

How difficult a target is the "Shahed" kamikaze drone for the AFU Air Defense

He emphasized that the Iranian attack drones, which are used by Russian war criminals to attack Ukraine, are not a simple target.

The fighter jets that chase them on the territory of our state can fly around it five times and fail to destroy it. The goal is difficult for our old, Soviet fighter jets, in fact, we expect that the F-16, maybe, will help us in this when it appears in Ukraine, Ignat noted.
