The Hungarian parliament will vote for Sweden's accession to NATO

The Hungarian Parliament has determined the vote date on the ratification of Sweden's accession to NATO. The head of the ruling party's faction, Kocsis Máté, announced this.

Kocsis said that at the meeting on Feb 26, the issue of ratifying Sweden's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance would be included in the agenda, and the ruling party's MPs "intend to support it."

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban previously said that the vote will most likely take place at the beginning of the spring session of the parliament, as early as next week.
