The US House of Representatives doubts the ability of the US Congress to consider further military support for Ukraine and Israel by the end of the year.

What is known about the situation with the issue of military aid to Ukraine and Israel from the USA

According to Mike Turner, the head of the intelligence committee of the US House of Representatives, it will be difficult for Congress to decide on further military aid to Ukraine and Israel by the end of this year.

Congress will require changes to the laws to return the border to its previous state, the congressman explains, referring to the disagreements in Congress on the issue of funding for strengthening the protection of the border with Mexico, which is included in the package together with the issues of military assistance to Ukraine and Israel.

Turner noted that a return to the previous provisions of the legislation on border security measures could mean restrictions on the entry of asylum seekers into the country, in particular, by crossing the border from the Mexican side.

The publication notes that representatives of the Republican Party want the issue of financing the strengthening of border protection to go together with the issue of approving further military aid to Ukraine and Israel.

I think it will be very difficult to achieve this by the end of the year, and currently the obstacle is the policy of the White House regarding the southern border, Turner notes.

This week, Congress returns to work, with the passage of laws regarding Israel and Ukraine on the agenda. Further complications will question whether Washington will continue providing its allies with resources and weapons.
