According to the ISW, the AFU soldiers continued offensive operations west of the Zaporizhzhia region and, on November 28, were able to advance.

What is happening on the battlefield in Ukraine

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on the morning of November 29, our soldiers continue offensive operations in the Melitopol direction (the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region).

Ukrainian military observer Kostyantyn Mashovets said that over the past few days, Ukrainian troops have achieved uncertain success west of Robotyne in the direction of Kopani (5 km northwest of Robotyne).

According to Russian military commanders, the AFU soldiers, supported by heavy equipment and armoured vehicles, attacked west of Robotyne and near Novoprokopivka (south of Robotyne).

Also, pro-Putinist bloggers claim that Russian soldiers successfully repelled a Ukrainian armoured attack near Verbovoy (9 km east of Robotyne).

The team of the Russian MOD chief, Sergei Shoigu, assures that the occupiers also repelled an attack by the soldiers of the Armed Forces near Novopokrovka (9 km northeast of Robotyne).

The Russian army does not stop its attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region

According to the American Institute for the Study of War, the Russian invaders continued ground attacks west of the Zaporizhzhia region on November 28. Still, analysts have no confirmation that the enemy managed to advance.

On the morning of November 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian soldiers again tried to attack near Robotyne and Novoprokopivka, but all their attempts were unsuccessful.

A Russian military blogger claimed on November 28 that bad weather conditions continue to create difficulties for Russian and Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance.
