What is known about the dismissal of Iryna Farion from "Lviv Polytechnic"

The Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, announced the dismissal on Facebook.

The Ministry's position remains unchanged - people who do not share the values of dignity and do not feel respect for soldiers have no place in the education system. I hope that the SBU will give a fair assessment of the statements and actions of the former teacher of Lviv Polytechnic within the framework of the criminal proceedings, Lisovyi wrote.

The reason for this is a violation of Article 41 of the Labour Law: committing an immoral offence by an employee performing educational functions that is incompatible with the continuation of this work.

According to the investigation, in one of her interviews, the People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th convocation noted that she categorically rejected Russian-speaking servicemen of the Armed Forces and could not call them Ukrainians. This caused a wave of outrage among Ukrainian defenders and in society at large.

In addition, the defendant published a post on her social media with a screenshot of a message from a pro-Ukrainian student from the temporarily occupied Crimea, which contained the name, surname and other personal data of the sender.

This became the basis for his pursuit by the Russian intelligence agencies.
