Putin said that Russia plans to bring the occupied territories of Ukraine on a par with the Russian Federation in unspecified "key areas" by 2030.

Analysts learned about Putin's intentions regarding Ukraine's occupied territories

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced Russia's plans to integrate the occupied Ukrainian territories into the Russian Federation within the next six years.

ISW believes that this shows that Russia is starting to implement long-term plans and does not foresee any territorial concessions.

In addition, Putin called on Russian banks not to be afraid of Western sanctions and to intensify their work in the occupied territories and noted that Russian entities have established patronage networks with the occupied regions of Ukraine.

Pseudo-elections of the President of Russia in the temporarily occupied territories

On December 8, 2023, dictator Vladimir Putin announced his intention to run for re-election as president of Russia for the fifth time.

Victory in the elections will allow him to remain in power until 2030, and press secretary Dmytry Peskov is convinced of the re-election of the current head of the Kremlin with the result of more than 90% of the votes.

According to the decision of the Russian Central Committee, the presidential elections in Russia will last three days for the first time — from March 15 to 17. In particular, the terrorists plan to hold the so-called "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
