According to analysts, geolocation footage released on February 15 indicates that Russian forces have recently advanced to the southern outskirts of the Avdiivka Coke Plant, northwest of Avdiivka.
Also, information recently appeared that the Russian army captured a Ukrainian fortified position south of Avdiivka, which was a Russian sub-tactical target for a long time.
Tarnavskyi told what was happening in Avdiivka
According to the OSTG Tavria Commander, Brig Gen Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, "the situation in Avdiivka is difficult but under control."
He also confirmed that decisions were made, according to which there is a planned reinforcement of units and manoeuvring of troops in threatening directions.
