According to the head of American diplomacy, Anthony Blinken, he is not going to hide the differences in the US State Department because of the position of President Joe Biden and his team regarding the war between Israel and Hamas.

What is known about the conflict in the State Department

As CNN journalists managed to find out that Anthony Blinken created a special message to the staff to his colleagues.

He decided to do so amid growing anger and dissent among the agency's staff and even within the White House.

The head of American diplomacy noticed that some people in the State Department may not agree with the approaches to which the department is inclined.

“I know that for many of you the suffering, caused by this crisis, has deeply personal consequences. The suffering that comes from seeing daily photos of babies, children, the elderly, women and other civilians affected by this crisis is unbearable. I feel it myself”, frankly admitted Anthony Blinken.

What solution does the head of the State Department offer?

He paid attention to the fact that forums have already started to be organized in Washington. So the department's employees would have the opportunity to express their position on this issue.

According to Blinken, he responds to all comments and hears the statements of his team members.

In addition, he provided an overview of his last-week trip to the Middle East and Asia.

The US Secretary of State once again reiterated that the key goal of the USA remained unchanged: to end the conflict as soon as possible.

As I have said privately and publicly, we believe that the voice of the Palestinian people must be at the center of post-crisis governance in Gaza. We believe in a Palestinian-led administration of Gaza, with the unification of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Gaza's recovery must be supported by a sustainable mechanism," Blinken concluded.
