According to the leader of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, if the international community weakens its support for Ukraine, it will give Russia even more chances to win the war.

The President of the Czech Republic calls on the world to strengthen support for Ukraine

According to Petr Pavel, right now, the West has no other choice but to give Ukraine everything it needs to throw out the Russian invaders from the territories they occupy.

Any less help will be our defeat, he warned.

According to the leader of the Czech Republic, as president, he evaluates the Russian-Ukrainian war not only from a military point of view but also from the point of view of principles.

A Russian victory would strengthen the idea that other regimes can achieve their goals by force and that they can rely on the weakness of Western democracies, Petr Pavel notes.

The leader of the Czech Republic also warns that 2024 will be even more difficult for our country, and the coming winter will confront Ukrainians with many problems.

It will be difficult for the population, and with the indecision of the countries that currently support Ukraine, the feeling of disappointment will grow. And naturally, this creates a situation that is not very favorable for the continuation of counteroffensive operations, he added.

What to expect further from Russia

According to Pavel, during the winter, the aggressor country, which has already managed to transfer its industry to military mode, will be able to recover even more.

He also reminded that the Russian occupiers managed to produce much more large-calibre ammunition and more tanks and mobilize even more soldiers.

Moreover, as is known, Moscow continues negotiations with several countries regarding the supply of additional weapons.

If we miss the opportunity to maintain our support for Ukraine, next year could be even more favorable for Moscow. This year is key to laying the foundations for success, the next year will be more difficult, the Czech leader warns.
