The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov predicts Moldova's problems in the "Transnistrian settlement", and not only that.
Russia threatens Moldova
During the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) meeting, the Russian Foreign Ministry chief, Sergey Lavrov, called Moldova the next victim of the "hybrid war of the West against Russia".
The Russian mass media wrote about it.
According to the Russian MFA chief, the "5+2" format is the last remaining format of the joint efforts regarding the Transnistrian settlement.
Lavrov believes that the West is preparing Moldova for the role of the next victim in the hybrid war that it has unleashed against Russia.
In a series of failed attempts to solve Europe's problems based on the principles of the OSCE, Kozak's memorandum could have reliably settled the situation in Moldova 20 years ago, Lavrov said.
Lavrov said that every country in which Western emissaries, foundations and non-governmental organizations are now being activated should consider it.
Lavrov spoke at the OSCE meeting
On November 30, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia spoke for 15 minutes before leaving the meeting. He blamed the war, which Russia started by invading Ukraine in February 2022, on "the West's tolerance of the ruling neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv."
Western ministers who attended the OSCE meeting sharply criticized Lavrov after his speech.
NATO member North Macedonia lifted the ban on Russian flights so Lavrov could attend the meeting.
The foreign ministers of Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania said they would not participate in the talks because of Lavrov's participation.
